At Gray's Jewelers, our mission, since 1964 has always been two fold. First, we strive to continue the tradition of providing the highest quality products, service and staff to ensure each of our customers is treated with attention, consideration and respect. Second, we try to help strengthen our community by investing our time and money into those civic and charitable organizations which help to provide a better quality of life for our customers.
Danny Gray, president, partner and jeweler with Gray’s is an accomplished jewelry artisan and designer with 53 years of bench work and design experience.
In 1974, Danny purchased the business from his father, Tom Gray, who was an experienced jeweler in his own right. His father started the business in 1964, at which time Danny worked and trained under him.
Danny has attained the highest level of Jewelers of America Bench Professional Certification, Master Bench Jeweler. This certification demonstrates mastery at all jewelry making skill levels. It validates and promotes the status and expertise of jewelry art professionals.
Danny is dedicated to creating one of a kind, memorable jewelry pieces for our customers that will become the heirlooms of tomorrow.
Lynn is a lifelong resident of Texarkana, Texas. She has been in the jewelry industry since 1971 and a member of Gray’s staff since 1983.
A 1976 graduate of East Texas State University-Texarkana, Lynn is part of the sales staff and the company bookkeeper.
She loves helping friends and clients create custom jewelry that will become heirlooms for future generations.
Paige Duncan is a lifelong resident of Bowie County Texas.
She is a 2011 graduate of Paris Junior College, Paris, Texas with an associate degree in Jewelry Technology and Design with a minor in Art.
Paige is a Jewelers of America certified bench jeweler and has been associated with Gray’s since 2013.
She is ready to help with all of your repair and engraving needs.
After graduating from high school, John Tuck joined the Marine Corp in 1951 and served our country for three years, which included a tour in the Korean War. He remained in the Texarkana Marine Reserve, 155th Howitzer Division, during which time he attended the Elgin Watch School in Elgin, Illinois from 1955-1957.
John came home to work at Park’s Jewelers, the family owned jewelry store of his parents, Hermon and Gladys Tuck. John’s parents owned Park’s from 1948 until 1970 at which time they made the decision to retire.
John began his career with Gray’s Jewelers in 1970. He had the distinction of being watch inspector for the Cotton Belt, Missouri-Pacific and Kansas City Southern railroads.
John has continued a tradition of restoring family heirloom timepieces for the enjoyment of generations to come. He can service most quartz, regular wind and automatic watches.
John is an avid fisherman and enjoys fishing at least three days a week, but continues service to his customers that appreciate the value of fine timepieces.
Mike Murrah, lifelong resident of Texarkana has been working in the jewelry industry since 1973. His association with Gray’s Jewelers started in 1976. He is a partner, vice-president, manager and buyer with the company.
Mike is Gemological Institute of America certified in Diamond Essentials, Colored Stones and an Accredited Jewelry Professional. He is also a Jewelers of America certified Senior Management Professional.
Mike is ready to help commemorate all of the special moments in your life with the perfect piece of jewelry. He can create custom designs or transform an old piece of jewelry into something new and modern. He also will be happy to assist you with appraisals of various kinds, including insurance and estate.
